Graphic Designer Brothers?

I'm looking to collaborate with a graphic designer on a "logo" for my Username and Instagram account. Something I can pass out to folks and the occasional sticker slap on travel humi's and such. I will pay for their service, of course.

I dont know if he is a graphic designer per se.. but hit up @mistaforty ... he has turned some very cool personal artwork into t-shirts, stickers, etc.. in the past..

I think I'd like to modify this image and make it an oval with a cigar and a tobacco leaf on the left and the mug and hops on the right. With my Instagram username at the bottom

sorry for the crudeness, but here is a very fast rendering of my idea.. (everything inside the oval)

so in that stock image you posted I like how the hops are making up the bottom right part of the border. how do you feel about running with that idea and having tobacco leaves make up the top left and the hops the bottom right then having them spill into the center where the beer mug and the cigar are?

haven't forgotten about you buddy, had a client give me a rush job over the weekend, but I fooled around a bit tonight using that pic you posted as a template and here's where we're at:

not exactly sure what to do with the text. Kinda hate both the under of above wrap of the icon...but I just wanted to give you an update. Will add the tobacco leaves opposite the hops on the edge of the oval and then the main icon should be good to go. then it's just text

I like the idea so far, and I agree with you about the wrap. What about removing the top wrap and just making the @Stogies_and_Suds in white inside the oval?

I'm no designer, but I like the last one way more than the others. The band idea instead of the oval is very nice.
