I know I'm new around here but I thought I'd throw this out here. If it's well accepted I'll definitely try and repeat. I'd like to get to know some BOTL.
I'm a member of Pintail Farms duck hunting club in Telephone, Tx (90 mins NE of DFW), 1 mile south of the Red River. (www.pintailfarms.com)
It's a great place. 12 members, each allowed 3 guests. 7000 sq ft lodge, pool table, all meals included, 1000 acres to hunt on, etc. It's the real deal.
I would like to know if 3 BOTL members (old or new, doesn't matter) would like to join me for the weekend of November 14 to duck hunt. It's early enough in the year that we can hopefully not freeze our asses off smoking outside.
The details:
-any member of BOTL is welcome
-I will be down there Thursday evening-Sunday mid day. So hunt fri, sat, sun.
-everything is included as part of my membership. The hunting fee, lodging, food, etc. The only expenses are your ammo and it's BYOB and BYOC.
-you will need a TX hunting license with a Federal duck stamp
-due to space limitations, I need members that can come at least from fri night-sun.Thursday night-sun is even better.
-unfortunately I do not have guns or waders to loan out. So if you need them you'll need to borrow them from a friend
-I'd really like it if 1 BOTL has a dog that's trained to duck hunt. (My dog is and will be coming). That being said, I'd like to speak with you about it before it's 100% your dog can come. Please say 'I'm in' in this thread then text me about your dog.
-If you have general questions that other members may have, please ask them in this thread so I can answer them for everyone
-if you need to check with wife, work, etc you can say 'I'm in' and then update your status to a for-sure within 48 hours
-I'd like at least 1 member to be an experienced duck hunter. The other 2 can be brand new (just as long as you are familiar with a shotgun). If you're experienced just please note that by your 'I'm in'
And finally...
-the first 3 members to say 'I'm in' IN THIS THREAD get the spots
