Hahaha I'm sure I will have no problems paying any Esoterica forward! I just hope I enjoy as I have never pulled the trigger on 16oz of something I have never tried before.. I'm yet to find an English blend I don't like though so here's hoping. If you don't care for it I'm sure we can help you with disposing of that garbage.
Yeah I think I will, I feel stupid though I thought I was buying 8oz of ribbon cut... instead I ended up with 8 cakes. You are going to love that Gaslight!!!
Margate is tasty. If you like English blends you shouldn't be disappointed.Hahaha I'm sure I will have no problems paying any Esoterica forward! However I do love the ribbon cut gaslight and I love 3ps and the whole ritual behind plug so again, here's hoping!
I have been using a razor blade to shave my plug tobacco into thin strip and then rubbing it out a little til it gets fluffy. Smokes marvelously....especially Gaslight.Hahaha I'm sure I will have no problems paying any Esoterica forward! I might try that method. I been using excalibur for my 3p's and it has been a little difficult to slice..I have been using a razor blade to shave my plug tobacco into thin strip and then rubbing it out a little til it gets fluffy. Smokes marvelously....especially Gaslight.
IIRC Pembroke and Margate are the same blend other than the added cognac flavoring. I've yet to try either of them but I bought both with the intent of comparing side by side... You should do comparison reviews!Hahaha I'm sure I will have no problems paying any Esoterica forward! Are you sure what you were smoking was really Gaslight? Not sure I've ever seen it other than plug. I know they do a "Ready-Rubbed" version of JackKnife, but not Gaslight, and definitely not a loose ribbon cut...Yeah I think I will, I feel stupid though I thought I was buying 8oz of ribbon cut... instead I ended up with 8 cakes.

When I get the Margate I will be sure to try! Probably be a month though as I order from the U.S.IIRC Pembroke and Margate are the same blend other than the added cognac flavoring. Maybe @cigarblunk can remember, i know you hook up alot of noobs Josh but is cutting up gaslight aomething you would have done for me? Its wrecking my head now I wouldnt have just thought up the name...IIRC Pembroke and Margate are the same blend other than the added cognac flavoring. When I open up a tin to smoke a bowl, if it's in a cake/plug I do try to rub it all out before I jar it so it's ready to smoke. I am not sure on the writing can't see it too well. Also am the one Straus blend that you where curious what it was is Lostitaniville (spelling may be wrong) it's one of their shop blends.Nope the more i think about the more I am sure I had gaslight in my noob sampler. I'm nearly certain now it was Gaslight again. My memory of it was a little different from the stuff I just bought but maybe that's down to dry time. even a mate I had over tonight remembers sharing a bowl of gaslight with me so it must have been. When I open up a tin to smoke a bowl, if it's in a cake/plug I do try to rub it all out before I jar it so it's ready to smoke. That's in a Strauss bag. Likely a house blend, not G.L. Pease.Nope the more i think about the more I am sure I had gaslight in my noob sampler. Not convinced... Josh admitted to rubbing out plugs so it's ready rubbed, I think based on the fact I remember that name, it's the right colour, the first letter looks like a G and a mate remembers the name too there is every chance it was in fact gaslight. Hmm if only I could confirm. That's in a Strauss bag. Likely a house blend, not G.L. Pease.
You remember what house blends you buy, Josh @cigarblunk?
So, the three Straus bags are going to be house blends that got labelled at the store when purchased.

Really liking the shape on that oneBoswell's 2013 estate pipe. "Clean & ready to smoke"...? Not by my standards. Ran four Bacardi 151 soaked pipe cleaners through the stem before they came out clean, then washed it with Dawn. Now time for the rum to sit in the bowl.
