I have two AW280-E wineadoirs. One I have 6 drawer in it, the other no drawers. I find the humidity to be more even in the one with no drawers. I would suggest using your money for cigars then getting drawers. Sure the drawers look great but like I said I have had humidity issues with the one I have with drawers in. Also the one I have the drawers in I have 3 lbs. of 70% HF beads and sill had to add a dozen Bovida packs. The humidity ranges form for 61% to 65%. The one I have with no drawers I use about 15 65% Bovida packs and the humidity stays at 65%. The wineadoir has a great seal so the packs last a really long time. I think I have had mine in for about 3-4 months now and still going strong. You can find to deals on boxes of Bovida packs on eBay. Forget the beads. That's just my opion.

Can't .. Wife is pregnant.
That sentence confused the heck out of me, so I had to Google it.
You have no need to worry. The danger is in parasites from a cats digestive system in dirty kitty litter. Clean kitty litter used in a humidor poses no danger.

I'm using KL from Kroger in mine. It was $8 for 8lbs. Just make sure it is unscented silica crystals. Works beautifully, and you're dealing with sand and distilled water. No danger for the pregnancy.

Since you're in TX you should know what Kroger is
