Thanks, btort! I'm probably most interested in the corona gorda or the double robusto because they are most similar to vitolas I usually smoke. I'm not against the smaller formats that La Imperiosa makes, in any way. That said, have you tried other vitolas? I'm curious to learn more about your experience.

Split a box of the CGs because that's one of my favorite sizes. Haven't a had a chance to try the others yet. The LI CG is a great cigar, so no need for me to stray. But if I get a chance, I will try the others as well. Haven't met a Crowned Heads I didn't like yet!

That says it all. Thanks for the insight. I appreciate it!

Thanks, Derek. I'll definitely be trying out the double robusto.

FYI, I posted this reply just a minute ago, and accidentally removed a bracket from the line of code that restates your post, and my reply was added to your reply. Fortunately, what I added to your post was innocent enough. :sneaky:

The double robusto is going to be the sleeper hit, I guarantee it.
I tried that bc I like your taste; but must of had a dud...a terrible draw, burn and flavor. Liked the cg and petite robo, it drew acceptably though tightly. I'll retry that double robusto later, but that first one was bad.

Had a similar experience with another Pepin produced 'new retread'; the draw, burn and smoke output from the Verocu's were terrible. Though the taste was to my liking.

I love Pepin stuff, but thought the experience was worth a mention.

UPDATE: I've smoked the various vitolas that @Spenny sent to me and the Magico was the winner for me. That said, I REALLY enjoyed all the vitolas and I've bought more of each. I would say that the La Imperiosa is one of my favorite sticks right now. Well done, Jon Huber.

Magicos vitola for sure, but they all are great. I tried the gc first and bought a box. Wish I would have bought a box of magicos instead.

I haven't had a bad one yet, knock wood!! I'd say the sampler would be a good starting point but really can't go wrong with any of the vitolas. :cigar:
