Weekend smokes!
Last night we smoked cubans thanks to @atbat82 ! I enjoyed a Bolivar, and my buddy @Saltnpepper11 enjoyed an RyJ which was his first ever habano (although i say that it was only my second >_>). The Bolivar was fantastic, it was on the milder side but filled with nutty woody flavor and a super creamy finish. around the middle of the stick I got chocolate milk flavors mixed with nuts that were fantastic. SnP really enjoyed his RyJ and nubbed that sucker.

Today I enjoyed an All my ex's compliments of @ginoc that was great during my walk and a LAT56(possibly a toro im not sure) compliments of @Spenny or @ChuckMejia (you both gave me the same vitola of the stick) while watching a livestream of the eclipse since it was cloudy. The LAT took a while to warm up but then I was getting a ton of coffer notes on top of the spicy tobacco core and it was nice, but I'm not sure I would buy it again when I like the mission alot more, great construction though. Dat ash went for about another inch after i took the pic before it fell.

Most definitely a Snakehead!
They will eventually completely take over any body of water they are introduced into and kill off all the native species that anglers like myself enjoy catching for sport. I have caught and seen snakeheads caught by anglers right here in Louisiana when fishing for Redfish in brackish water. Seems like they are quickly becoming a problem that we will probably not be able to ever eradicate. Many anglers here believe they are catching choupique, a native fish to our area, instead of a Snakehead and unfortunately don't report the catch to Wildlife and Fisheries. Therefore there are many Officers in the Louisiana Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries that have yet to see a Snakehead and even some officers who deny their presence exist in our state waters. I can assure you though, they are in fact here.

You owe it to yourself to fillet some of those snakeheads up. IMHO there aren't too many fish that taste better than a redfish and a snakehead is one of them! And yes, they are spreading rapidly but don't seem to be hurting the native fisheries yet...yet! Definitely a big thing around here. Anglers go out at night with bright lights and bow hunt(fish) for them and then have fish fry's.....

I may have to try one then. I really didn't believe they would be worth eating.
