Hey Deez, welcome to BOTL! Good to see you on this board. I think you'll like it!
So...as to the herfs....I don't really put them on, just try to promote getting everyone together. Several of us who have herfed in the past few months want to get one scheduled for March. May be a bit early for BBQ on the deck, but if you have any ideas where to meet, jump right in!

That would cool to duplicate something like that, have maybe a lil food, spirits, and cigars.

Food/drink before-hand is a great idea! I make a great DD if needed.
Havana Manor in Longmont has a pretty nice lounge setup. Though I've never made the trip to Barlow's and would definitely like to!

We'll definitely shoot for March. Tyler's suggestion of Havana Manor may be a good one. Perhaps somehwere close to that for a little pre-herf chow & then the Manor for some smokes. I'll stop in and ask El Presidente there if we can bring in our own adult libations.
