Hello from SoCal,
Made the move from another forum as they have been lacking over the years with useful info, too much drama, ect. Bit by the CC bug a 4-5 years ago and have been on slippery slope ever since! BOTL is a great site and cant believe all the valuable info and input.

Trying to decide on HUPC and RYJMF for some smokes to give to my guests that don't normally enjoy Puros... Will save the top tier for my guests that have a clue. Just like wine, bust out the good stuff for for the ppl that can appreciate! Think i will just get both but would like some feedback.
TIA!

Welcome from San Diego! I would do the same in regards to what you hand out. POR and JLP have good sticks at cheaper prices than your average box of CCs. Or you could even go with the HUHCs

Have a couple boxes of HUHCs from 12...great sticks and some JLPs.. Want something a little longer so the novice doesn't rip through them too fast and overheat.

Welcome!

Both the HUPC and the RyJ Mille Fleurs are decent choices.

Personally, I would recommend Quinteros for those non-smokers who want a more traditionally-sized cigar if they can't appreciate.

I've found that a lot of non-cigar guys have the "only big cigars are real cigars" thing in their heads, and are somewhat put off by a "little" cigar. Not that they've openly complained, but the general sense I get is that to a non-smoker, larger cigars are "real" cigars, due to perceptions from movies or whatever. So I give them Quintero Favoritos. Still good CC flavor, medium body, robusto size, at just over $3/stick.

For those who have smoked a few and realized they like smaller, shorter cigars, the JLPs cazadores are perfect. Mild-medium profile, still a nice creamy CC flavor, and at $2 stick it doesn't matter if half is wasted.

Thanks for the suggestion, i have never tried that marca.

How about Fonseca? I remember having one years ago and it seemed pretty mellow...think it was Cadetes.

I have no experience with the Fonseca marca, unfortunately.

Thanks Everyone! Went ahead on a box of HUPC and RYJMF- figured i would get something reasonable that I could enjoy too from time to time as my starter cigar for those multiple puro nights!

Enjoy the weekend!

Welcome to BOTL from Minnesota :D

As others have stated, I also think that the HUPCs and RyJ Mill Fluers are both great options for your "less experienced" guests.
