recently things have been heating up over which method of humidification is best. Although I feel this is a total personal choice no way of humidification is better than any other if your hummi stay's where you want it, then your choice is your choice. I was looking into negatives of PG usage. I have found some negatives that you guys might be interested in. The main negative that i have found is as such. with the constant use of PG every time you refill your humidification system if you constantly use PG. PG is left in solid form in the humidification system. this changes the consistency of the PG that you add every time you refill your humidification system. Although it is a very slow process after much time what ends up happening is the PG ends up being 100% instead of 50/50 and it will actually dry out the hummi and gars instead of hydrate them. this was the main negitive that i found with constant PG usage. in my personal option I think that this process would take years to get to 100% PG being that you only refill your humi system once every month or so. just food for though. I like for things to be defined, in other words i want to know why you shouldn't do something or why other options are better hope this helps somebody out

20 years of what is the "right" way to humidify cigars still gets the troops all aquiver and while I subscribe that KL works best for me it is indeed a choice of what people want to do with their own stock of cigars. If somebody wants to do incantations over their humidors and it works for them....good for them. PG, Bovedas, KL, Beads and foam are items that are used for humidification and they each have their following....it's like having a grouping of cars traveling from New York to San Francisco where one drives like their hair is on fire while another drives slow enough to catch all of the traffic signals with a green light...some other guy drives like a jackrabbit while yet another guy drives at night only to miss traffic in big cities. I've read posts that get out of control when it comes to "how to's" about humidification and it's like arguing over "cello on/off"....just use whatever works for each person....there are a number of roads that get you from NY to SF.
