I think I posted this pipe once before already, but I decided I'm going to go through all the pipes that I smoke regularly and post them here until I reach the end, starting 3 or 4 pipe posts ago. I don't think I'll keep count, it would be silly how many pipes are in the "regular rotation" LOL

Today's pipe is one of my Tinsky's. I got this one from Mark right about 10 years ago when he made one of his "Today's Work" posts on alt.smokers.pipes calling one of them the
Ultimate Fishing Pipe. I responded that he should make another one, just for me, in tan. That was in August, 2005. Ten years later, this is what it looks like. A nice patina, with a little dust, but still smoking like a champ. Right now i'm smoking some Mac Baren HH Vintage Syrian with thanks to @javelin377

You and me both. I hear so many stories of great looking gourds being purchased on the cheap. I just haven't been at the right place at the right time yet. Will definitely stay on the hunt tho!

I don't think I'm going to make it too far with this tobacco. But I thought I'd give it a try since I somehow ended up with two cans of it. I do not like cased pipe tobacco at all. This is cased with brandy. I typically am not fond of burleys. This is burley based. I expect you'll see this in a bomb near you sometime soon lol.

Edit to add: The pipe is my Radice Oil-Cured Twin-Bore. I bought this pipe a number of years ago at a trunk show at the OVTC in Falls Church, VA. At the time is was my first really high-dollar pipe. I think I paid $230 for it at the time. I don't like to spend that much on a pipe today, not sure what made me do it back then! I still love the pipe though. Great smoker and it's served me well over the years.

Treating myself to the first non-OTC pipe tobacco I bought earlier this year, Blakeney's Best Tawny Flake. I struck gold on my order as the tin is from 2006, and I think this is my favorite tobacco to date. I don't smoke it often, don't really want to wait 9 years to get this flavor again ;)
Broke out the London Crown, still with the Medico replacement stem, working out wonderfully!

I remember having some of that tobacco back then. I loved it then - I bet it's fantastic now.
