Awesome vibe you guys got going on here! So a little about myself... My name is Tom and I'm currently a very poor college student in Illinois. I am EXTREMELY new to this world and am really liking it (2 weeks). I have some cigars coming in the mail tomorrow and am really biting at the bit to smoke them. Id love to hear some great cheap sticks that I could pick up at a local cigar shop that you all would recommend a newbie trying out. My other interests are guitars, woodworking, and fishing. Thanks for having me!

Tom

Welcome to BOTL from Long Island, NY!! You're in the right place to learn about anything and everything cigars and pipes!!! What cigars did you purchase??
I'm honestly not sure what I'm getting in the mail! I met a guy on a whole different type of forum and traded him something for some cigars. I'm really excited to open it up and see what I got! I'll definitely report back with my haul tomorrow when the mail comes!

I can already tell I'm in a vast wealth of knowledge here. These forums for different subject matters are such a great way to bring together people from around the world and share thoughts, ideas, and lessons they have learned.

Thank you! I have a 100 cigar humidor coming in hopefully tomorrow! I think I'm going to need to get some more! These 6 will look too lonely in there!
Oh boy, it has begun for you. Already needing more. Prepare to fall head first down a steep slope. We will all be watching from the bottom laughing and pointing at you.

And welcome to the forum from Indiana.

I started 10 years ago with a 25 ct desktop. Took a bit of a hiatus and now have that 25 ct plus a 100 ct and am asking the wife for a wine cooler for Xmas.

So it's been a slow roll down the hill for me. Mainly because of available funds. But now we are making more and I can afford more. Woohoo
