Thinking of this as my next humidor http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0085EJPF4/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?qid=1446933658&sr=8-7&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&keywords=humidors+for+cigars&dpPl=1&dpID=31zCvDe3SFL&ref=plSrch

What's your opinions ? Looks ok to me I'll add a digital hygro and some heartfelt beads as I have in my 50 now which works well.

I've currently got something similar 50ct though

Going to keep my single ncs in the 50 ct and could fit a box (or 2 haha ) of 10/15 cigars into it . Then I'll put my single ccs in the 100 ct and 2/3 -10/15 ct boxes too.

Not going wineador or tupperdor this will be more than enough for me. And truth be told I like the humidors. I've narrowed down what I like both nc/cc over the past 2 years of singles 5ers 10ers etc so I can now focus on finishing off what singles I have buy a few boxes of my preferred nc/cc and grab what singles I want to try down the track . That's the plan anyway ;)

Cheers fellas

Looks to me like Luan (a Philippine cypress often mis-called mahogany) with a cedar tray. Corners appear to be mitered rather than dovetailed. I don't see any specs giving dimensions; but from the size of the hygro planted in it I'd doubt you'll stuff 100 cigars in it.

Try cheaphumidors.com ... they have good bargain deals on seconds,

I wish you good luck, sir! I had the same plan when I started...I wasn't able to stick to those and have already started my wineador build with plans to pick up a cooler

Humidor arrived looks the goods, it's actually bigger than I thought but that's probably good haha. I'll season it and the tray + dividers , then salt test the hygro. I've got heartfelt beads en route + digital hygro and also a box of montrcristo petit edmundos this larger one will be for my ccs and my smaller 50 for the ncs . Happy days wooooohooooo

Congrats!! :cigar:

then salt test the hygro.
Salt test = BOOO! (n). Just unreliable in my experience; I've gotten all kinds of up and down readings from it. Instead, put your hygro in a large mason jar or airtight Tupperware container; throw a small Boveda pack in (any humidity will do) and seal it up. Leave overnight, then see how far off the hygro is from the humidity of the Boveda. Adjust up or down as necessary and you're good to go. The digital hyrgos are generally calibrated at the factory, but I wouldn't chance it...just sayin! (y)

Ok, So wiped down humi of wood dust etc and to give a quick once over with distilled water, just a light wipe over, that was a few days ago and then put a shot glass of distilled water in for seasoning. Waters now dropping slowly so seasoning is coming along and good humidity at 66% now the part I forgot was do I take it out now or leave it in for at least a week or so for it to soak up some more juice ? Havnt put the HF beads in yet thought I'd wait till seasonings done.

Can you lads just check that for me please

It's fine, just place the HF beads in the humidor. It will eventually stabilize. Might sure your beads are properly hydrated.
Don't get too hung up about this. Beads or boveda packs In the humidor, with your cigars. Alls good.
