AIM Update Notifications

Anyone know how to turn these freaking update notifications off? Geez they pop up every 15 minutes and I don't feel like updating it.

This is why I use GAIM.

No pop-ups and you can talk to anyone on Aim,Yahoo, Microsoft Etc...

Runs cleaner,faster and easier.

I used to use a program liike that but now I have trimmed my IM use to Gtalk and Yahoo so I don't use the other app anymore.

I think it was called Trillian.

You can use GAIM and talk to all your AIM friends. My kids do. And you can talk to Yahoo friends with the same software.

Trillian is the best client ever. AIM, Yahoo, MSN, and ICQ natively, plus there are plugins for pretty much every IM client in existence.

I use that on my PC when I'm not using AdiumX on my mac.

Yes. And there are lots of 3rd party plug ins to tweak the logs
