It sure does. Cool and dry. And the pic is a little deceiving as the bowl on this guy is one of the largest I have. Nice long smoke.
Going for a double this morning. Took the sharpie to my cob, this will be a designated aromatic pipe. This tobacco isn't remotely goofy like I think of with aros. I may just have to find a briar to dedicate to aros too!
Hopefully someone answers your question cause I have a lot of problems with flakes also. I have tried a couple different ways of packing it an still can't figure it out.First time with this baccy. Couldn't keep it lit..... Any tips on how to pack flake?

I rub out flakes. All that folding and whatnot never works for me.
By some sort of magic, folding and stuffing worked for me once or twice which made the smoke awesome. Every other time I have tried it has pretty much been a fail...

I always rub flakes out. Break them up so they look like a regular cut up tobacco. Sometimes the flake doesn't want to rub out very well so I'll actually rip the flake into smaller pieces. I used to try to fold and stuff, but it was always a pain in the ass and would either end up with a plugged pipe or just burn kind of crappy. Try fully rubbing it out and I bet you'll have much better luck.
What others have echoed, I rub all mine out to some degree, I rub pretty much everything out unless it's a shag I just dmseem to get a more uniform pack

I like to rub one out sometimes as well, but I prefer my wife to rub it out for me.....

Working through some samples a friend sent me while I clean some estates for another friend. Currently smoking some Finck's Extra Mild Cavendish in an MM Patriot while cleaning the stems from a Nording and Comoy.
