My friend who sells Usborne books asked me to 'host' an online 'party' to sell some children's books. I don't mind because it benefits my 2 year old and they're pretty good books.

So, in the course of the party, she's going to give away a prize if $100 of books have been sold tonight. I decided I should invite you all and if $100 in books are sold to fellow BOTL, then I'm going to raffle off a 5'er of something good.

Here's the link: https://f4130.myubam.com/193029

The sale starts at 8pm Central. If you're interested follow the link. Savannah (the girl selling) will tell me how many of you folks bought. I'd love to give away a 5'er.

This is a win, win, win. My kid gets books, your kid (or grandkid) gets books and someone gets cigars.

No obligation, just a thought.

Good luck bro, and way to encourage the little ones to read! Would have loved to help, but i actually just dropped 50 bucks on some books last night. I had the Dr Suess sub when I lived with Grandma for a couple years, and it sorta paved the way for my love of reading.

I'm constantly reading and I hope my kid picks up the same habits. It's crazy how easy it is to spend $50 on books though, isn't it?
Definitely. Especially if they're new. I like checking up on estate sales and garage sales in the nicer parts of town. Or I do betterworldbooks. They had 30% off your entire order, came out with 7 hardcovers in very good condition and one paperback. Can't complain
