Stopped by CI Hamburg since I was still in PA today. Same Padron Hammer I picked up in Famous was marked up 150% at CI. Just another reason to shop Famous and drop CI. The Hamburg store was cool though.

$100 off $200 at Famous didn't look good to you? $20 off $30?
Didn't have $100 to spend, sadly. And didn't see that 20 off 30 so don't know what that was about. But I was expecting lots of great deals and there were maybe a couple. Not just with cigars but everywhere. Felt like I'd seen better deals several months ago. For example when I got 20% + $20 off a box of undercrown, plus free shipping, plus a 12 cigar drew estate sampler. Or when I combined codes to get 4 LP9s for $19 including shipping.
I think the problem is I'm used to combining coupon codes and getting fabulous deals. And when they do Black Friday they scrub all those extra coupons and just have one which is comparatively so so.
It was just an overall feeling this time. At no point did I get excited and think wow I gotta jump on this!
The one thing I did buy was a beautiful old Weber estate pipe from ebay that's near mint but with a loose stem. Will throw some beeswax on it to tighten it up and it'll be great. Seller wanted $15 but I got it for $12 lol. That to me is a deal.
How about just Site Wide Free Shipping, no minimum order? I didn't see one of those.

I, for one, am happy it's over. I jumped on 5 Famous deals altogether, was able to grab a couple gifts for friends and overall I'm happy with how it went and twice as happy it's over so I can stop checking my phone every hour like I have some sort of nervous tick.

Haha only once when they had an insane deal. Usually they charge retail or near it. And I don't like limited releases either so SBC isn't really of interest to me.
Glad you guys found some good deals! I was disappointed but I'm glad it's just me. I thought the retailers had really gone stingy this year.
