As a relatively new cigar smoker this has always been something that worries me. I've gone to some BnM shops and found - what I thought at the time to be plume - was actually pretty substantial white mold. I appreciate the pointers for what to do if you find mold. My humidor used to fluctuate rH quite a bit. I now have it stable at 67-69.

LFOD - That cigar (J.D. Howard Reserve) is one of ours--and that IS "mold."

At some point in that particular cigar's life span, it experience excessive humidity--I can't say where/when that happened (we maintain our warehouse at a cool 59-65F and 62-65RH), that IS our product and we stand behind our products. Regardless.

Please email me at Huber@CrownedHeads.com. I will replace that for you at no charge ASAP.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Robert, good to see you here. Welcome. Jon Huber (owner of Crowned Heads) is a regular here, and has replaced cigars several times, even when it was very clear that it was the retailer's fault. He's a real class act. He also makes some really good cigars, and his stuff is in my regular rotation.

I'll save you by buying them from you at .50 / stick. I wouldn't want you to get sick.
