So my cheapy 40ct humi has 2 65 boveda packs in it atm. Got it around September and it has held fine at 65 till now. Same packs but they are still bloated and not crispy at all. Until recently though the Jimi has been over 20 sticks...I don't keep a lot of stock. Now though it has 35 in it, which is just about full. Should I add another boveda or two to keep the rh up? Or is it just the cheap humi? The boveda instructions was 2 packs for a wood 40ct.

I have the same kind of setup in one of my humidors. During the winter I will just add another package, or moisten a piece of cedar and toss in there. I found that helps to increase the RH.

Thanks guys I'll add another boveda. I was hoping it was just the humi. I like the look of it sitting on my desk and didn't want to switch to Tupperware if I didn't need to.

Since you like the look you could always put em in a ziplock inside the humi.

I agree it's probably just the winter air, I also experienced a humidity drop in my wooden humidors that I use boveda in recently. I added some pg gel drymistat tubes to help get some extra moisture in there, but additional boveda would work too I think, I just had the tubes laying around. I don't think boveda releases moisture very fast, so it seems like it is losing the moisture faster than the boveda can replace it.
