I have this happen on a somewhat regular basis. The cigar will get hard right behind the cherry and block the draw, sometimes completely. I then have to squeeze behind the cherry to break up the blockage to get a draw. It usually happens to an otherwise great feeling cigar, slight give to a squeeze, no wrapper splitting like an overly wet smoke. Is this a humidification issue? It almost feels like the tobacco crystallizes the way sugar does when it's heated. Does tobacco have a large amount of sugar content? What are your thoughts?
Edit: I've had numerous smokes do this, but today, it's happening to a Tatuaje 7th Capa Especial. Not sure if that matters, just giving more info.
Great cigar, btw. My first...
