I just finished this stick. Smoked many of the original line, picked up a box at the Famous b/m. The box rested 2 weeks, about halfway through I got a little tar seeping out of the head of cigar, a quick cut fixed issue. Has anyone had this happen?

It happens to some people. I hear some people say it happens often (all types of cigars) and some that never have a problem. I've only had it happen once, myself. Not sure exactly what causes it.

I have had it happen to me on everything from Opus X's to the cheapest yard gars.

I have noticed that it generally happens most often on rainy days and especially days when it is foggy outside so I have always attributed it to extra RH in the air. I also think that the fact that I tend to smoke a little fast may also aggregate the situation as well.

Maybe a bit too wet yet?

I used to get the tar on occasion. It was suggested I purge the cigar more often, but I think my problem might have been related to %RH that was too high in my coolidor. I fixed my RH and I haven't had tar in ages. I'm not suggesting your humidor is this way, but maybe they need more time to acclimate.
