New (to me) Tower Humidor

So I've been browsing my local craigslist for a couple months, checking out what new humidors were out there. Nothing has really caught my interest, until today. They were asking 500 for this, I got it for much less! It's in sound condition. The lady I got it from said it was her son's but she moved away and didn't want it. she also said it was kept setup and maintained until "last week" before it was put in storage. My hygrometers say it's at about 60% right now. But they've only been in there 20 minutes or so.

It also came with several pounds of what looks like heartfelt beads and a Cigar Oasis humidity device. The oasis has the green foam in it, so I'll have to see what options there are to using the rest of the system. if any. Besides that, it's just missing a couple pegs for the shelves and trays but that's easy to fix.

I'm pretty happy with this find. It'll get me out of the coolers which will make my wife VERY happy since they won't be in the rec room anymore.

I have the Oasis, not the fan kit. I already pulled the moldy green foam out of it and filled it with those floral bead things. Figure that's the same thing. Between that and the heartfeld beads that are there, I should be in good shape in no time.

Awesome find. I have the same exact tower.. It has served me well... The hygrometer on top is crap on mine, reads about 8% below... I bought the wireless weather system for mine and love it... I have the oasis xl and KL in mine. Seems to hold consistent.. Nice Grab.. It will be full in no time

Also. The fan kit for the oasis xl is a lot smaller than one would imagine. I bought it and was shocked when it arrived. Fans are the size of a half dollar... Seem to work for air circulation but cracked me up when I first seen how small they where

Yeah, it is the duct vent right behind it. Not ideal by any stretch. I've pulled it out so there's about 5 or 6 inches between the vent and the humidor. Was hoping that'd be ok. There's no other great spots to put it down here unfortunately. The only other semi good space is very close to the fireplace.

I don't like it so close to the vent - I'll try to figure something out
