You smoked any of the San Juans yet? I had a box and to be honest with you, I wasn't impressed at all. Harsh taste, poor draw, uneven burn... Maybe I just got duds. Major fan of the Especials though! Smooooth.
I'm a big fan of the #2, but I agree with you that the EE is super smooth without much need for time down. As for the SJ's, the cpl that I tried ROTT definitely weren't what I expected flavor wise, but burn/draw etc were fine. I think that they've got the genetics to be really good with a few years sleep. Hoping it's not just wishful thinking...lol

Haha I just smoked my way through the San Juans when I should probably have laid some down. Hope they pick up for you!

Hey-hey, first-time post! Anyway, I went a bit wild over Christmas...

Not everything I bought is in this shot. In no particular order:

25x Monte Double Edmundo
25x HdM Epicure No. 1
10x Partagas Serie D No. 4
10x RJ Mille Fleur
2x Cohiba Behike 54
1x Cohiba Siglo VI
1x H. Upmann No.2 Reserva Cosecha 2010 (gift)
1x RA Club Allones Edición Limitada 2015
1x RA SS (I might as well see what all the fuss is about huh?)

Already smoked the Behikes for Christmas and NYE but I'm really looking forward to the H. Upmann - anyone know much about it?!
Big HU#2 fan here- they have been consistently spot on for the last few years. The Reserva has all the great HU2 qualities on steroids If you like the more up front qualities of younger HU2's then you'll love it now. If you prefer the smoother, finer notes of a nicely aged HU2 then lay it down for a loooong nap, and you will be rewarded handsomely for your patience. I enjoy both, and I was lucky enough to trade for 2. Smoked the first- glorious! Put the second down for that loooong nap then smoked it 2 weeks later-Glorious again! So much for patience

I am not at all sure how this customs thing works. All packages were label 25 cigars plain as day. Oh well they got here.
Solid haul brother!

Haha might as well get the new year off to a bang right? Really looking forward to that H. Upmann as well - got it from Germany, which makes sense because it sounds like that's one of the only markets it's been released in. Fingers crossed...
