OE 2016 Boltman Lighter thread..........

Mike has graciously agreed to make some customised Ronson lighters, and I will supply the bands.
Each lighter will have a band front and back,so I will offer sets of bands.
Some sets will be 2 of the same band ,some will be different.
I do not have many of each band,so if you like something,buy it.
You can post here what you want,so others will know it is taken.
When we have 5 or 6 lighters spoken for I will send the bands to Mike.
Mike will do this for a contribution to OE 2016 of $25.00 per lighter ,and possibly there will be a second run.

About the "Los Volcanes",this brand was a one time run of 5000 sticks,privately held by a client who dropped out after this run.
Never sold outside of a small town in Texas,the bands are deep relief and have the size on them,very unusual.A few sample bundles came to me in NC.
So if you want a lighter that is easy to identify,this is for you.
there are 3 total sets of Los Volcanes........

Keep in mind, if Tom only has 1 band, like the Rino band, the lighter will have a definite front and back. Two bands will get you a lighter that is identical on both sides.

I have never cut a band horizontally. I'm sure it could be done, but I cannot guarantee the outcome. Also, you could conceivably put a Rimbou band on each side, the are identical in shape, only the animal would be different. If I get lucky with the cut and the buyer elects to go with a band on each side.... Well that would be a very unique one of a kind lighter

Oh wow, that is a big band. Thanks for posting a picture of what I thought was a Rhinoceros. I went back to the pictures of all the bands you had and zoomed in to get a better look. I didn't see the Mammoth the first time. If it's not to complicated to get the band to fit that's definitely the one for me.

That's mammoth band on a @boltman lighter would certainly be a sight to see! Great choice in band.

I would do the gran Toro / robusto combo if you've got a dark gray gunmetal type color lighter to put it on.
