Bull City Cigar Company - "House Blend" San Andres Negro Wrapper (Toro)
It started off with chocolate, light earth, a bit of cream, and a grain taste. Each third had a distinct character. The first third was about the wrapper. The second third really showed off the Ecuador binder, and the final third was a really good marriage of the Dominican filler and San Andres wrapper. It was an interesting stick with definite "phases" in each third. It would be worth picking up a fiver a couple of times a year just to have something different and intriguing around.
It was smoother than a set of silk sheets and the strength never got overbearing. I would call it a mid day stick, or early morning if you had a hearty breakfast. I could see smoking one as a way to relax and break up a stressful day.
