Welcome from West Carrollton. Good to see another Daytonian on here. The Wharf is nice. Very helpful, friendly staff and a great selection of cigars, but not the best lounge area. Although, they are remodeling the lounge, I haven't seen it yet. I just stopped by Stogies in Huber on Saturday. Not a huge selection in their humidor, but the lounge areas look great.
Agreed. I just went by the wharf today pretty much the same. Have you ever been to the leaf and vine or down to jungle jims I was curious if they were any good. I'm interested in trying different places.

No, I've never been to either. I keep meaning to go to Jungle Jim's, just keep putting it off. A group of us meet up once a month at House of Cigars in Sharonville to smoke and hang out. Check out the Cincinnati Herf Schedule thread in the Herfs forum. You should try to make it sometime.

Bonjour and welcome from Montréal.
How is your postal service?
.. oh yeah. For those unaware, Herfdog is referring to an Ohio package of cigars that traveled for weeks,
and wound up at the same town of origin. This , to this day, is still referred to as "The Ohio Triangle" incident.

Legends say it turned in circle like a dog chasing it's tail for months before someone intervened.

Jungle jims is great for selection. If you want to go further south the party source in northern Kentucky is by far the best. I am from Cincinnati. Check out the herf section we have a gathering of brothers every last Thursday of the month at house of cigars in Sharonville. Hope to see you there. And welcome.

Welcome from Columbus.

I was born and raised in Dayton and moved to Columbus. Lots of brothers on the forum from the tri-state area. We have a regular Cincinnati Herf that @Manberapig spoke about that you can read about here:
http://www.botl.org/threads/cincinnati-herf-schedule.82423/

and the one-off big one, the Tent Event in Columbus that you can see here:
http://www.botl.org/threads/tent-event-in-columbus-3-20-16.85046/

If you want to get dropped into the cigar world in a hurry this is the place to be – manufacturers, retailers, and friendly brothers all talking about cigars for an entire day. It’ll cost you a hondo but worth it if you really want to have a cigar-related experience. Plus about 14 cigars handed to you direct from the manufacturer.

I hope you enjoy the brotherhood on BOTL and participate in all the discussions.
