Did a search and only found a few casual mentions of these, no real discussion.
I love AJ Fernandez, and both the Unholy Cocktail and Unlimited are regulars in my humidor. The flavour bomb for the price is incredible.
I'm curious about the Uncut lines as something to have on hand for casual smokes and every day 'gars. But honestly, the aforementioned Unholy Cocktail and Unlimited are already priced beautifully.
Is the Uncut any good? Do they get too cheap, or are they a worthy entry in the Diesel lineup?

@manbearpig is our resident diesel fanboy!

Let him know some info Justin!
The sad part is Chuck is correct.

Diesel uncut are just okay. Try a few for yourself but I wouldn't point you towards a box. They are not the flavor bombs like the rest of the lines and don't represent what I have come to like in diesel. They are built with price only in mind And you can tell. Why mess with them as you stated the unholy cocktail are excellent and price at around 3-4 bucks a cigar

Thanks for the info, manbearpig!

While I have you, how about some of the other Diesel lines? I've only really had the standard line, Unholy Cocktail, Unlimited and Unlimited Maduro.

I have not had the rage or the unlimited maduro
wondering if they are worth the coin to try?
I've had the uncut and the hair of the dog. both ok. but not as good as the unlimited or unholy cocktail

I prefer the standard Unlimited to the maduro version.
The unlimited is a very complex smoke, and has some hints of vanilla particularly in the retro hale. Vanilla is one of my favorite notes in cigars (and a big reason why I love the Man o War Virtue so dearly).
The Unlimited Maduro, while still good, kind of overshadows all of that complexity with the dark maduro flavours. Again, it's still good. But I prefer the original.

Unlimited Maduro is my absolute favorite. The Hair of the dog is great too. The Wicked and rage are excellent smokes, but are not core lines last I checked.

100% agreed. I only had one uncut, but thought, meh. It's ok, but nothing I'd want to seek out or spend money on. My thoughts are the same with the hair of the dog. Regular and unlimited diesels on the other had are fantastic smokes for the price.

I smoke Diesel on a fairly regular basis. I did not enjoy the Unlimited maduro. The standard unlimited is far better in my opinion. The uncut and rage are on decent for the price but I will choose to smoke a standard Unlimited or a Grind over them. The uncut CT is a fine budget ct offering. I would say they are all worth a try I don't think there is a bad Diesel.

I absolutely love love love Diesel and AJ in general, they age very well also. The uncut are okay for the price but that's it. The best one I've ever had was the Crucible, unfortunately they seem to be gone or the least very expensive.

Ant I have tried all of them I think. I really don't care for most of the line in particular- most are just "good" but not worth buying IMO.

The unholy cocktail on the other hand is one of my favorite smokes if they have 6 months rest. Right amount of strength still but to me they mature very nicely. I've even aged some for 2+ years and they really did keep getting better.

Every other in the line has left me wondering why I didn't just smoke a UC instead.

I have some 5-1/2 year cedar aged UC's to smoke this year! I'm excited.
