From some of the pictures it looks like there is a gasket of sorts on the lid to create a seal.

They cigars are wrapped in a wax type paper in the jar

I believe they only have damaged jars left. There was a small "note" on the website. At least on the mobile end they did.

Either way, they're great smokes. Pick up some if you have the funds.

Are they the same as the ones first available? These don't have the red band I think I remember being on the ones I got in the jar.

I don't think they are the same either. When I got mine with the jar they had the white and red band.

Ordered the singles from same "limited edition" and they only came with the white band. Weird.

The second band only came in jars. The ones available as singles or five packs only had single bands.
