Really don't want to steal MrDraned's spotlight. But this post needs to go here as well....

DOG ROCKET ROULETTE PASS
BULLET #7
Not a bad smoke. Strange that a shade leaf wrapped cigar really tasted like a dark madoro. Not complaining, just a little more peppery than I expected.
Number seven's profile was hard to place. It was not earthy / not nutty / not bean.. so I never did determine.
Good sturdy build with even burn. Still a heavier smoke with a unique profile, that I would not necessarily look for again.
Regardless, I still removed the band to smoke it down more, so a worthwhile experience nonetheless.

With the above points in mind, I would guess this is either a Cain or a Punch. because that's what the thing reminds me of.

Thats not a cain.. That's a saturn! ;)

I commend you on your choice of vehicles. Too bad GM destroyed them.

601 Green! My fav 601, went on a kick with these about a year or 2 ago. Not an extraordinary smoke, but pretty good for the price. Definitely helps to be in the mood for a stronger smoke though.

That's a good one! I like the blue label best but nothing wrong with the green either

I got a Yellow 601 here, aging. ( 60RG ? ) Possibly had a green 601 once before as a noob.
I looked it up, says definitely a strong one of the 601 line. Nicaraguan stick, via Don Pepin.

I'm aging one of those massive 601 yellow's too - I've had the "normal" size yellows, definitely the strongest in the 601 line.

OK, it's not so much that I'm "aging it", more that I'm afraid to smoke it. Unless there's a giant spider I don't know about hiding in one of my closets, there is nothing else in my home that scares me as much as that cigar does...
