So after being on this site for a few days I've decided to go the Tupperware route for a humidor instead of my cheap Amazon humidor that I'm constantly fighting with.

Now my question is, what's a decent starting size?
I don't have a huge budget for cigars currently so I'm not going to be buying boxes and boxes, but I have been acquiring more. Right now I'm only sitting on about 15-20 sticks. I just want something that will allow me to grow into it without being too big for what I'll be having on hand most of the time.

Head on over to Wal-Mart or Target and size up some of the containers. Mine is fairly large -- maybe 12 gallons -- and it's already way more than I need. What matters most is that it seals extremely well...(y)

Been guilty of the same.

Just get a descent size container, some cedar and a couple bovedas and your good to go. LOL, Then in a couple months when thats full, get a cooler. (y)
I'll get there soon. The fiancé has me on a tight leash right now haha. Apparently a wedding prioritizes "all of my hobbies". I call BS.

Just moved out of a 30 qt version of this.

Don't see the 30 qt anymore but they have 20 and 54. Mine worked great with 4 Bovedas and some cedar trays.

If you've only got 15-20 sticks right now the 20 quart version of this one would probably be perfect.

I would hope that your fiancée wouldn't object to the $6.99 price tag.

Oh no. She really only objects when I come home with more and more cigars. All she says is "I don't understand why you need so many" hahahaha

After 5 years on this slippery slope I have my wife convinced that I hardly buy anything anymore. Having bombs show up from other brothers repeatedly in the mail helps to reinforce that perception.

I also do a pretty good job of catching the stuff I do actually buy online

Luckily she's on first shift while I'm on second. So I end up catching all of the packages sent to the house. (y) What she doesn't know won't hurt her?
