Being new here I don't want to overstep my boundaries. But I've always been curious, do we all have a cigar that we enjoy thoroughly but it only comes in a Churchill or corona and that pesky little 28 gauge bugs you and your 54 gauge loving lips? Would like to know of others that may or may not shy away from a stick because of the size.
Size really does matter...

Yes, but for the opposite reason - some smokes I prefer a robusto, some a corona, and usually it depends on my mood. And most of the good stuff is available in a range that keeps me happy, but there are a few I'd like to see expand into smaller RGs.

I definitely find that size changes the flavour profile for the same blend. A DPG Blue toro tastes very different from a lancero, but both are delicious.
I do tend to prefer smaller ring gauges. My favorite sizes are typically corona gordas and lanceros. But this is just a generality. For example, the Man o War Virtue is best in a toro IMO, whereas the Ruination is best in a corona.
Illusione's best stick is the HL (lancero).
It's very rare that I like massive ring gauge cigars. Mostly because I personally find that a LOT of a sticks' flavours come from the wrapper, so when the filler to wrapper ratio is so high, I find it becomes much blander.

I imagine it would unravel and you may not get the same flavor profiles due to smoking the 1st third and 1/2 the second third in "one stick" and the other half of the second third with the final third in your other half.
Wouldn't take the chance with a stick.

I agree with Aaron, each cigar is blended to fit the vitola ... Cut it and you take away from the blend ...

The MUWAT and AB Maxx come to mind as sticks that are better in a large RG, IMO...
The MUWAT is really the only silly fat cigar I've enjoyed.
I prefer coronas over most any other sizes. I can't recall buying anything over a 50rg in a long time.
Ive never personally done it, but I've done it for my buddy who typically gets light headed and/or sick if he smokes a full sized cigar.
