Put the Tupperware in the cooler, this will keep them cool and the RH inside the tupper wont suffer.
Why would you put a closed tupperware in another closed environment that is seasoned?

He's saying he's having problems with the RH cause it doesn't have a drain plug and water is sitting inside the cooler. If you can't get the rh stable then just use it to keep your sticks cool. That's what I had to do for the summer time, my house get's up to 89* inside and the cooler can't keep up and kills the RH so I had to take out all the drawers and put the stick in tuppers to save them.

Jesse, do you get condensation inside the Tupperware? I have been told that is a risk of keeping them in a fridge (which I have done in the past). The wine cooler max's out at 68F.

If condensation were not an issue I think Tupperware inside the wine cooler would be the way to go, because humidity is not stable enough trying to use it as a giant humidor. Maybe if I built some pure Spanish cedar shelves for it, things would improve. I just don't think it's worth the $$ yet to do so.

I have a few sticks a BOTL sent me that I'm keeping inside Zip-locks inside the wine cooler. They are Tabak Especials, so they are coffee flavored. No condensation so far, but I don't know about long-term. I guess if they slowly cooled down on warmed up, it wouldn't be much of an issue.

I don't have enough space in the cooler to keep all my sticks so only the ones that are worth more than a dollar or two go in there. I have plenty of handmade and machine made cigars that aren't premiums that I plan to just keep in small Tupperware on the floor under my bed. I figure I can afford to risk it.

I checked the humidity today with a good digital hygrometer... it's at 52 on the top rack. Way too low. So, I guess I am still having problems. The wine cooler has one large Boveda 65%, an ounce of silica beads, and two gel travel humidifiers... I don't understand why humidity is barely higher than the outside room.

I'm going to try a few humi-pillows and see if I can get it to budge.
GO get some Kitty Litter. Mimi Cat brand at Walmart will run you 5 bones for 4 pounds. While your there, pick up some knee high panty hose. Like others have said use Boveda to counter the humidity spikes (shouldnt be any). Problem solved.

If you kept them in the house hold fridge yes you would get condensation but because they are in the wine cooler I didn't get any condensation at all. My wineador is stable now so I don't have to use the tuppers anymore but once summer comes I'm sure I'll have to go back. I had KL and Boveda's inside my tuppers and they held up just fine.

Mine was having a hard to with humidity the other day and I realized the power went out a couple days back and the temp was down to 55°, once I set it to 65 it was fine.
