Is that plywood? Not that there is anything wrong with that. People make a big deal about using Spanish Cedar and while Spanish Cedar is the best, any wood that does not give off an odor will work fine and most plywoods fits that bill. All wood will help hold and slowly release moisture. You just have to make sure it doesn't contribute any odor to your sticks.

Two hours to complete, then another 2 planing / sanding and retrying...
Turn out the shelve recesses and the fridge interior was tapered. Meaning it was 5mm skinnier at the back, was an annoying oversight that wasn't easy to fix as my drawer was square.
If everything had of been made the right size though i would have only taken 2 hours.
A good friend of mine is a builder, his father who started the family business is now retired and makes furniture as a hobby.
It was pretty funny actually, I went over there and he was like: You're lucky BOY! I don't get my cedar out for anyone! Haha
No mate it's Cedar! Not Spanish, just cedar.

that's a nice tray, wish i had the skills to build something like that.

No skill required when your buddy has all the right machines lol! I'm no furniture maker, just had access to the right tools!
Yeah that's true just have a circular saw, hand saw. I can build a ramp alright but tough to do more refined work.
