I've been in the medical field for over twenty years now and it still gets to me when I see people cut down by cancer, especially young people with kids. My mom died last year from an aggressive form of leukemia. She was in MD Anderson, best cancer hospital in the world arguably and still all they could do was buy her some time. My heart and prayers go out to Rory, Joey, their little girl and anyone whose family is affected by cancer.

My sister was the baby of the family and found out she had cancer at the age of 26 and passed away at the age of 31. Cancer SUCKS
It was nice to see that they have faith and know that this was just part of God's plan even though she is still much too young.

Ryan they were both great people. When I lived in the Nashville area I lived right down the road from them- salt of the earth people. Had many great talks with them in their restaurant- her mom runs it and is an amazing cook.
Side note- they went to church with me and I was the guitar player there- talk about feeling inferior. Kept me on my toes playing.

So sad. I've been reading up on this the past couple of weeks and of course it has been the worst part of it. For me too, being in the medical field it always hits me hard when I see and read this. Heaven gained a new angel. She's going to be missed.
