J. Fuego Gran Reserva Corojo #1 Original

I absolutely love this stick. I am smiling and getting excited about the profile by the third puff. Great smooth coffee, oak, earth, fruity sweetness, and a red pepper mixed with white pepper flavor that doesn't hurt your throat and nose. The red pepper coats your tongue and keeps the smoke feeling a bit rustic. It offers a ton of great flavors through out the smoke and gets a creamy texture. Plus, the last third shows off the best cherry flavor I have ever experienced in a cigar.

On the flip side, the Fuego sticks are prone to construction issues. It is common to have a waffle cone looking end when the ash falls off. Touch ups are to be expected and the draw can be a bit taxing. They are great sticks but I find issues in about 1/4 of them. I wish Fuego could get with a better factory. These cigars are the perfect balance to my Dominican bent. If you're a corojo fanboy these things are unbelievable. I think the rollers are the only thing holding Fuego back from being a much bigger name with his core line.
