Hello from North Jersey

Hey everyone, I've been a lurker for some time, but it's great to be here now! It wasn't too long ago(about a year) that I started down this slippery slope known as cigars, but I've got my personal palate pretty well figured out now and a 120qt Coolidor roughly half full haha. I love my strong full bodied sticks, that's for sure!! But anyway that's a little about me and where I'm at with all this, hope to participate with you all around the boards soon!
EDIT: oh and my favorite sticks right now are the Fausto, serie R, JDN antano, and probably LFD double ligero. I throw in a murcielago for my ride home from work. And I've got some Neanderthal resting a couple weeks in my humidor before I give them a try.

I live in Newton, which is close to the Tri state area. But I work all over the northern area from Dover to Kearny to watchung, if you know any of those areas. A lot of times I'll hit up the JR cigar lounge on rout.10 on my way home from work. And thanks for the welcome!

That's where my uncle had the trailer! I grew up practically every summer in Northwest jersey!! So I know exactly where you are! The trailer might've been in Stillwater maybe? But newton address maybe??

Sweeet!!! Here's some places you probably know- Jumboland, Firehouse bagel shop, Skylands sport shop??? LOL.

There used to be a cigar shop in Lafayette in the shopping village but they closed up I think. Always stopped there on my trek back home.

Maybe next trip I take to Jersey, I'll hit you up and we can hang out if you're free.

Haha yup I know all those places, too funny!! And yeah that cigar shop closed, but theres a place called Stix Cigars in Sussex nj, and I believe it's the same owner. And yeah if you ever come through here definitely hit me up, that'd be awesome!

Where are they located??? I didn't think he'd open up shop elsewhere. Then again that whole little village tumbled downhill real fast. A damn shame.

Things like this make me wish my uncle still had that trailer. I go back and visit to reminisce lol. My girlfriend I'm with now never got to experience all the fun I had at the park with my cousins and family. All she hears about all the damn time is my trailer trips lol. And the close calls I had with Yogi the bear when I was younger.

Yeah it's amazing how fast that whole place changed, you're right about that. The shop is right off rt.23 in Sussex, but I'm not 100% it's the same owner. That's just what someone had said to me, truth be told I've only been in there once, I don't go to Sussex very often.
And haha close calls with yogi the bear! don't get her too freaked out or she'll never want to come out here Haha
