Lately as in the last several months, yes. But moreso over the last couple of weeks -- are people stocking up on CCs in general? Seems harder to get basic stuff like a cab of RASS or PSD4...

Anyone else seeing this?

Both of those are readily available from a quick search I did, but it does seem as if some things aren't as available as they were a couple months ago.

cabs (50 count) are not as common as dress boxes or slbs.
when you see them is the time to buy them, like LGC or Sir Winston............

I've been hearing that the Habasnos stores in Cuba seem to have a poor selection lately. I wonder if Habanos is beginning to stock pile inventory in the hope that the US market will become available.

Cuba needs cash! I sincerely doubt the Cuban Gov't would allow (I assume it's Habanos S.A.) to speculate on the US Congress lifting the embargo. I do believe that demand for cigars worldwide is rising and Cuba is having a hard time keeping up with the demand. I also believe many CC connoisseurs believe the quality of CC will decrease further in the future as the country attempts to meet demand, especially if the embargo is lifted.

I believe the silver lining is the incredible selection of great cigars from NC sources.

I've stopped buying CC as of late. The last few boxes i've gotten have been 50% plugged, and the other 50% too tight of a draw. I'd rather spend my money on NC that are rolled correctly.

Too bad too, there's some good flavors to be had, just hate throwing away cigars non stop to find one that actually draws.

Jim, what years/factory codes, and what rH are you storing at?
