Yeah it's amazing how fast that whole place changed, you're right about that. The shop is right off rt.23 in Sussex, but I'm not 100% it's the same owner. That's just what someone had said to me, truth be told I've only been in there once, I don't go to Sussex very often.
And haha close calls with yogi the bear! don't get her too freaked out or she'll never want to come out here Haha
Yeah damn shame! So where do you go for smokes? I always had to bring mine with me when I came to visit.

I spooked him or her out of the dumpster in the park lmfao. Was maybe 25ft away or so before they ran off.

Haha yeah the Bears up here are more afraid of us than we are of them, just don't get close to a mama with Cubs!!
And honestly, I usually swing by JR cigars on my way home from work. Simply for the selection they have, and the size of their lounge. We don't have too much in the way of cigar shops, aside from that place Stix Cigars in Sussex...and the local vape shop that has a small cabinet humidor with your basic run of the mill stuff lol.

I've ran into mother and cubs while driving down the road to the park lol. That was a neat experience. I've had more encounters with the ones who hang out of dumpsters or roam within the park. I had one maybe 20ft from me or so but was so spooked by me it just ran off. I knew from reading the safety pamphlets what to do should one attack or I needed to scare them off. Although, they're wild animals and that might not have worked.

I'll have to swing by Stix next trip and see how it is. Then grab something to eat at Yetter's diner. Mmmm.

Yeah Stix is a nice place. Walk in humidor with a somewhat decent selection, I grabbed a couple surrogates singles when I went so that was cool. And they have a small but nice lounge, so when you come up here next definitely give me a shout and maybe we can meet up there for a smoke, my treat!

And Yetters like you said, is a great diner! Seems like you know most of the good food spots around. You ever stop at the yellow cottage for some sweets? Best bakery I've ever been to

Been going to Sussex county all my life lol. Chatterbox in Augusta, Skylands park for baseball, space farms zoo & museum. I remember Ames used to be near downton Newton or maybe across the street from shop rite and walmart over that way as well as Shelby's. Hahaha. I wish I could remember all the roads, it's been so long....

Oh wow haha yup, you know all the spots. And Ames used to be in the jamesway plaza, which is now marshalls and bed bath and beyond and modells and some other smaller stores. Funny you mention, my dad actually lives right by space farms and you can hear the lion roar at night sometimes..it's pretty freaky lol

Hey everyone, thanks for the warm welcome!!! This place has been great so far. I notice trading/bombing cigars is a big part of everything, and I think I Want to start doing that if possible. Only thing is I've never shipped anything in my entire life lol. I did a search, but didn't really come up with much, so how do you guys and gals all ship? Is it easy? How much usually? What's the most painless way, the post office? If possible id like to be able to just swing in somewhere after work and ship the package out, as I'm usually busy on the weekends. I didn't want to start a new thread on this as I feel it's not really worthy of that, so hopefully some are able to catch this post. Thanks in advance for any help!!

Start by heading over to the Newb Trade thread found in the 'Cigars' forum, that is your best place to start.
Yeah thanks! I saw that thread, and that's where I'm going to start once I figure out the shipping aspect of all of this. I don't want to commit to a trade if I'm not 100% confident I can ship my end out seamlessly.

Shipping is easy, everyone uses USPS for the most part. A Small Flat Rate box (SFR) can fit 5-10 sticks pretty easily, maybe more depending on size, costs $6.80 to ship and the boxes are free. Pack with some newspaper or old bubble wrap if you have some, and send it out!

Can I get the box right at the post office? I saw when I searched people saying you have to go to the website and have them send you a bunch of boxes.

Sorry I know I'm being trivial and kind of a pain, I just want to be sure lol
Yes you can, or any place that does USPS shipping. Every time I drop by the post office, I grab a stack of them.

Also, if you order them online they are still free and will usually show up within 2-3 days.

Cool!! Thanks for the help man, greatly appreciated! I didn't know anywhere besides the post office did usps shipping, I'll swing by the post office after work today and grab some boxes and make sure it's feasible, and then post over in the newbie sampler thread!! I even have 10 sticks set aside already lol
