Southwest should start booking within four weeks - you'll save a ton and if you keep an eye on their website getting tickets shouldn't be a problem. There is some risk I suppose in waiting if you cannot book Southwest in that a latter purchase at another airline will be much more costly later. I fly Southwest all over the place on a montly basis and have never been unable to book with at least 21 days advance purchase- just some info my not help but I plan on booking the first Southwest flight smoken to Nebraska when it opens up

unfortunately Southwest does not fly out of Atlanta, and the closest is Nashville which is three hours away, so it would have to be pretty cheap for it to make sense for me to drive there and fly out...

I may end up getting a room at the hotel... it just depends on the work situation at that time

You guys can probably get a good feel for the ticket prices via Southwest if you look at the price for tickets for the end of February, i.e. 21 days from today. :thumbsup:
