Nice like a Grätzer bier how is it? I've been looking up obscure styles lately and that one sounded interesting.BOTL RIS and a smoked hefe.
Which variety? My hops are doing pretty well. Ran some string for them to climb today. Will probably need to run a few more lines soon.

I planted cascade, centennial, and Columbus. The Columbus must not have been planted in time since it never sprouted, but the cascade and centennial are growing strong.Which variety?

Nice choices. Got a friend that grows cascade and does a wet hopped batch every year at harvest. Straight from backyard to boilI planted cascade, centennial, and Columbus. The Columbus must not have been planted in time since it never sprouted, but the cascade and centennial are growing strong.

I have a brand new Chugger pump that I would sell/trade. I bought it a while ago, but never got around to upgrading my system. Since then, I've gotten away from brewing. PM me if you are interested.I haven't done protein rests in a while since I don't have a direct fired mash tun and my pump needs replaced. This was a very strong 90min boil and the first 2 gal of runnings got boiled down and added back to the main boil. As soon as I get the kegs my friend has for me I will be building a direct fire mash tun out of one just for that reason. Not only is the beer clearer, I tend to get better efficiency and faster conversion when I do protein rests as well.
It was inspired by Live Oak's seasonal hefe+rauchbier, Weisser Rauch (White Smoke). The first day of fermentation was the usual hefe notes (banana, clove) but today you can begin to smell the smokiness.Nice like a Grätzer bier how is it? Nice addition. Fermentation temp control is, I think, the smartest upgrade one can get. Next, you'll be buying one for a kegerator. Sliding fast...Have put off brewing because the temps are rising and didn't have a reliably cool place to ferment. Solved that issue today. CL freezer find after a good cleaning and a few coats of chalkboard paint on the top. Inkbird ITC-308 controller. Double brew this week.
Already been looking at kegerators. This will be my next brewing investment. I think I prefer the pre-built models over the keezers. A three tap model has my eye...Nice addition. If you are a DIY guy, keezers are by far the better way to go. Better quality of parts than what some of the junky kegerator companies use and at probably 20% the cost.Already been looking at kegerators. This will be my next brewing investment. Just make sure there aren't cooling lines where you drill, that is why it's best to drill through the door. If you can verify there aren't any cooling lines in the side you can drill there if you prefer.I already have a fridge for beer in the garage. Can I just drill some holes in the side and throw some kegs in? I would have to build some shelves to hold the bottles, but that would be easy enough.
I would have to check, but I was able to fit 4 plus a co2 tank in mine when I had the fridge. 3 should be no problem at allHmmm. Now you guys got me thinking. Are the dimensions on a ball lock keg 23"x9"? I think I can get 3-4 in there and still have room for a shelf and the CO2 bottle.
