I smoked a Bull City Cigar Company's Nicaraguan while I was at their art and cigars event. I'm going to have to start resting their cigars before smoking them.
Then after dinner I indulged in a Jake's Handcrafted Cigars Barber Pole (Connecticut shade and Connecticut broad leaf). Man, I was super surprised at how well it was constructed. It had a perfect draw, good burn (one touch up when the ash fell), long ash, and great bunch. The shade grown Connecticut was overpowering in the first half, but the second half really showed some serious potential. A broad leaf wrapper with about two months of rest should be quite tasty.
