No disrespect intended, but I'm looking for a bit more of a knowledge drop on the SLR-Regios than that. I have yet to try this cigar, so I have no point of reference w.r.t. to taste and improvement over time.
You kinda have to set the baseline yourself, because it depends on your palate. Some people like them better fresh, some people prefer that aged quality. Smoke one now and see how you like it. If you think it's smoking well, just keep smoking thought the box and set aside a fiver to smoke over time. If you don't like it much, set the box aside for six months and come back to it and see how it goes. Rinse, repeat. Cigars, unfortunately, are often a trial-and-error kind of thing.

Awwwww yisssssssssss

I agree that water spots are just cosmetic blemishes that don't affect the cigars flavor. I'm saying that since he said they wiped off, they're not water spots. I would guess white mold.
Ohhhhhh missed that part, my bad, too much scotch already lol

This I agree on. If it wipes off easily, most likely it is mold. Some will argue that the sticks are fine after a wipe down as long as there isn't any mold at the foot (signaling potential mold inside the stick) but I usually don't take chances when it comes to smoking something that potentially has mold issues. I have had enough health issues lately to be more cautious than most my age though.

In your defense, I added the wiped off part after your original reply.

So the big question is, can I wipe them off and introduce them to the general population in my wineador(after a qurintine period) or do they need to go back across the pond?

Just be 100% certain there is no mold on the feet of any of them and in theory you should be ok.
