@ Jesse I'll trade your "Las Cucarocha" for my " Smoke on a Rope "
Reported this to RP yesterday. Initially packed in the head, first I thought it was a stem. I then extracted synthetic fiber of some sort.
Would have been pretty nasty.

@Jesse
Personally I'd rather take the occasional chance than freeze my sticks -- despite anecdotes to the contrary I simply don't believe it doesn't dampen flavor.
Kinda me...I called and chatted with 2 venders on here and another online vendor and they all said freezing incoming sticks wasn't necessary for 95%

Only time I really consider it if in transit for a couple of days during hot weather. I really don't worry about where I get them from, its just how they get here...

I had a cigar a few months ago and when I lit I found it was smoking like a light cigarette. All the other ones from the same box were fine. I couldn’t figure out why this one was such a light draw. I took the band of and found a small hole. I wasn’t sure if it was from a beetle or an imperfection in this one stick. I just kept my finger over the hole and smoked it anyway.

Wow, that sucks. I probably wouldn't have notice it and fired it up, nice catch.

I had the same issue about two months ago. I now check my cigars carefully before my purchase and once a week while I am doing my humidor maintenance.
