Hey-ho brothers,

I've been an amateur cigar guy for a long time, but only recently started getting more into the hobby. I tend to smoke about 3-5 a week, usually after work to relax, or when out for drinks with friends.

My tastes are all over the place, depending on mood, setting, what I'm drinking, or whom I'm with. Most days I stay in the medium or mild/medium category, but if I'm having a Bourbon or scotch I'll go with something pretty heavy. Personal favorites for everyday: Joyo de Nicaragua Cabinata Robusto, Nub Cameroon or Connecticut, or something similar. If I want something with more punch, I keep a few Brickhouse Mighty Mighty Maduros and CAO Flathead V660s in the humidor. And if I'm drinking Laphroig or something like that, I keep a Camacho Triple Maduro or two on hand.

I'd love to find some local guys (or girls) here in the Indy area to meet up with once a month or so for a smoke out. I'm also pretty into craft brew (and home brew) and like to mix them with my smokes.

We can for sure setup something. My go to place is usually Carmacks in Noblesville but there are plenty of great places around town. Even a few bars that allow Cigar smoking on the north side (Eddys, Main Street on 96th, and Claude and Annies (Fishers).

Someone else said Carmacks and I'm willing to head up there. I hit Cigar Haven about once every other week to smoke in their lounge after week. I work 3rds and they open at 10.

I've been to Blend, Nicky Blaines, and Village Cigar. Blend is way too high class for me. Village has a tiny humidor (and officially a 10 buck charge to bring your own). I like Nicky's for the atmosphere, but it can get a little yuppy/hipster in there on the weekends.

I'm down for hitting up where ever. Just let me know a time and date so I can plan. I have a couple cigar friends that might want to join us. Ones a normal cigar guy and the other is chick whom also is a beer blogger (she can handle herself! Lol).

I missed a herf smoke out there a couple weeks ago with a group, wish I would have made it. I'd like to try it out.

I've only lived in Indy for about 8 months, still venturing out and finding new places.

And depending on the month, my beard is either well-trimmed and oiled or full on mountain man (it's a little Grizzly Adams right now!). I kind of stuck out like a sore thumb!

I get that for sure. I usually go to there events as they are top notch. It's for sure not my "hangout" place.

Been a big fan of your band since the late 70's

Things have been kinda slow the past few years after Animal did time for manslaughter and Floyd convinced Zoot to go into rehab; but our manager Scooter has a few things lined up for us. I think Jan's supposedly leaked internet sex tape has gotten the public interested in us again!
