Been wanting to get my hands on these for quite some time. Even saw a few boxes at my local B&M but they sold out in the blink of my eyes.

But thanks to a fellow BOTL who posted a phenomenal deal for them in the official cigar deals thread I had to jump on it even if I've been on a really serious freeze.....I had to break it this one time....

Hopefully they age well too!!!

Maybe try asking someone on the inside.
Hey @warpedcigars can you enlighten us a little?
Raf has moved onto different RG's and it was in the interest of the marca moving forward. The Amado No. 36 is difficult to roll with its size and ensuring the draw is not an issue, so we talked about it together and he decided he wanted to pursue other vitolas. The original intent was to develop a new La Colmena vitola but with the FDA new product deadline it seems unlikely that will come to fruition.

Yikes! That's sad to hear, but I appreciate you being so forthcoming with the information.
If the La Colmena line is now down to just the 44 and no new vitolas on the way, does that mean we might see a return of the unico or a discontinuation of the line entirely?

The La Colmena line is down to just the No. 44 as of right now. We will not be discontinuing the line in any way shape of form!
