Me its to many new cigars and brands these day. Its hard to get excited about new cigars because there are so many poping up who can keep up. New LE new production new company blah blah sure it's a good thing but damn who doesn't make a cigar these days

I'm the opposite - I think it's great that there's so much new stuff to smoke. Yes, there's always something special about firing up a familiar old favorite, but trying a new-to-me smoke for the first time is one of my favorite aspects of the hobby. Even on the rare occasions where I say "this is f@cking gross" and pitch it a half inch in, it's one more that I know whether or not I want to smoke again, and therefore worthwhile.Me its to many new cigars and brands these day. I was on a cigar hiatus since probably last October. I recently started smoking again due to the summer and came back on BOTL to see what has been going on, and it seems like there isn't as much activity since last fall when I was last on here lol.

I think some people go through phases with forums. Maybe they lose interest and leave for a little, then come back. I, for instance, was MIA for at least a good year. I bought a house then got married a month later so I had a lot to go through. I also chose to stay away because I needed to save money! You never know what people are up to so it could just be that we're coincidentally all busy at the same time.

Having 2 boys doesn't give me the luxury of sitting at the computer too much. Although when I do, I usually pop on here to see what is going on. I agree, quiet on here lately.
Not always a bad thing though. Nice to know that people are out doing things!! Hopefully good things.

Same here; BOTL is my go-to. Facebook and crap can wait until I'm truly bored. Seeing it quiet here is weird.
Agreed... Late start for me on camping season this year, but I finally made time to take my kiddo out to her favorite state park this month. Here's hoping other bros here are also having fun.
Our Canadian summers are are wonderful ... but they are followed by our Canadian winters so there's lots to get done while the weather is good. This is "cigar weather" and it doesn't last all year. It's time to smoke and enjoy and not so much time at the computer.
Had oldest daughter graduated college, daughter #3 graduated HS, son playing travel baseball, daughter #3 still playing travel softball and still working like a mofo. Lucky, got in a few this weekend.
