Nice pickupI asked @Hopduro for a sampling of his cigars for a future project and he came through big!.
Thanks for the homerolls and the bodyguards, B. It was nice to have them delivered minutes after coming home from vacation.
Looking forward to smoking and reviewing these.

What are those padrons? What are the unbranded piggies
Btw, the unbanded one is the corojo kink blend wrapped in Ecuador seco, just for a little side by side comparisonI asked @Hopduro for a sampling of his cigars for a future project and he came through big!.

My Cbid haul was supposed to ship Tuesday. I got an e-mail Thursday saying it would be delayed until early next week. The e-mail said they would take off the shipping because of the delay. Well, the shipping wasn't on the original invoice. Still miffed they weren't more up front sooner.
Whaaaaat?!? Cigars International not being above board? Inconceivable. My Cbid haul was supposed to ship Tuesday. I got an e-mail Thursday saying it would be delayed until early next week. Padron black is a mix of the 26 and 64 blends, and like both of those come serial numbered as well. Comes in four sizes, and both maduro and natural. @famoussmoke exclusive. The pigs are Shades and the Padrons are new parejo format not box press.
Where might one be able to find a few of these? Looks like just the right thing to smoke after my wedding at the end of September, for obvious reasons. Some new Daidoffs

When they first came out Dion, Pete and Pepin were all pretty damn exciting to most of us. I liked virtually everything they made. I'd grown so tired of the base Fuente, Padron etc. offerings. I still enjoy just about everything Pete puts out (not all Pepin made), but Dion's stuff has lost a lot of it's appeal to me. I didn't care for the Candella stuff that came out quite early I believe, didn't like any of the Singulaire (sp) and didn't care for the Cruzado Marelas Supremas (again sp). I've kind of gone off the OR lines. A lot of it probably has to do with there being so many good cigars being released these days. Roma Craft, Warped, Crowned Heads, all good stuff.Which have been disappointing? Simply curious.
Personally, I haven't had a bad one yet
