Binge-watching Sautter cigar youtube vids...

Is anybody else binge-watching Laurence Davis of Sautter cigars smoking and reviewing large ring gauges? The way he wraps his meaty lips around them is mesmerizing.

Well, that was different. I have never seen a reviewer hot box a cigar. Not to mention toasting the foot by means of cremation. I guess that's one way to smoke a cigar.

He supposedly smokes (used to smoke?) a dozen cigars a day. Although I'm not sure those were entire cigars because in his vids he'll smoke maybe a quarter of a cigar then put it out.

Not sure how he can assess the quality of the cigar because he torches it to death and then puffs away like a madman, heating the cherry up until everything tastes like charcoal. Perhaps that's why he never mentions any flavors.

EDIT: Looked at the Sautter cigars Facebook page and there are recent pics of him smoking. The April 1 comment where he says he's quitting was a joke.

It's like watching a train wreck - tough, but I can't help my self. I watched about 10 clips last night.

My takeaways: anything under a 65 ring gauge is for sissies, Cohiba's are the best cigars period-nothing else compares, and I've been doing this cigar smoking thing all wrong.
