Man i hate you guys, me threeI've been thinking about a torpedo mold as well.
Número uno. you just made my day. Número dos. no stix in this pic. Número tres. inquiring minds want to know details.Because hand-molding torpedoes is for the birds.
Yeah. Well, I've already named sticks Marie and Maria, but I guess I can still name the first run from this mold Mary, a reasonable triple-entendre if you consider Mary Shelley, originator of the Gothic novel, as well as that other gal often featured in Gothic cathedrals.Gothic.
Details: $90 from WLT, plus ~$20 shipping. I ordered it the same day you posted the link to the molds. Your basic 52x7. Seems to be made by the same guys who made my 47x6.5 from Martinez. Little banged up, some of the fits feel like there will be fairly serious ridges, but DC says he picked out the best torpedo mold for me. I'll do ten dolls, er, bunches, and pick the best five slots and stick with those. Just arrived this morning and I'm not rolling for awhile while I recover from a respiratory illness.Número uno. you just made my day. Número dos. no stix in this pic. Thanks. I didn't stress the take-back at all, I just move to Plan B or C or D. In my case I was very lucky that you provided Plan C so soon. I will def rotate the heck out of those things. I already rotate stuff about ten times over a 24-48 hour period, so it won't be an imposition.Really, I've been burning a lot for you on this brother. I am truly happy for you. I have to admit, having back stepped on my offer to you was hard for me but, I had to. I apologize for that. So that thing looks to be in better shape then the one you would have gotten from me though.. One more thing I'll say. rotate, rotate, rotate. I'd bet you might find all those slots useful.
I must have missed something... What are you trying to achieve here? Are you making torps?Getting closer...View attachment 84894
These are SOOOO pretty ~xox
I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I haven't rolled consistently since May. As kids will be back in school soon, my schedule is getting back on track...with that I'm hoping to get more consistent bunching with a tasty burning stick. As the foot won't be cut for a particular length, it tapers....I must have missed something... What are you trying to achieve here? Are you making torps?
