Checking out at the supermarket the other day, I notice Prince Albert in the tobacco case. I just HAD to buy some. The foil pouch was a major letdown though.

My grandfather smoked this stuff as long as I can remember, both in a pipe, and RYO. I remember these tins growing up holding fishing hooks and sinkers, 22 shells, etc. Found a decent one on ebay that isn't valuable in the collectors sense, due to the bar code on the side. Like $7, including shipping.
Brings back lots of fond memories. Yes, I keep my tobacco in it, so I do have Prince Albert in a can. Lol

Not a bad smoke, either. Kinda mono dimensional, low on nicotine, but not horrible.

@MyFathersKeeper goes back to a story Mary McNiel of McClelland told about her father (grandfather?) coming to America aboard some ship, losing all hope, but seeing the Wales have him some desire to see it through. Something like that.
Find episode #3 of the Pipes Magazine podcast interview with her, it's a good listen!

Thanks! I figured it had to be specific to them.
