That's a bummer. I have two near me and so far I've only bought from one. Didn't seem to have any humidity issues. I bought 4 sticks and they all seemed fine to me. I am really new to this so my observations are bound to be wrong. The store is in Mokena so if that is the same store I will approach with caution. The Binny's by me has their walk in so over-humidified, I would likely never buy cigars from them. If I did, they would need to sit in the humi a month to dry them out.
Not the same one, mine is in Schaumburg. Glad yours seems to be doing a better job with humidification. That's a bummer. I have two near me and so far I've only bought from one. Most binnys only have one person that runs their cigar dept. If that person is off, you will get someone that knows a lot about liquor or beer and maybe a little about cigars. They also sometimes move people around. The guy that runs or at least used to run the Naperville humidor was previously in the wine department. When he switched departments he suddenly had to learn a lot about cigars in a short time.I have about 3-4 that are within 30-35 minutes of me. One had mold on their Ligas, the other didn't know shiz about anything I asked. I just stick with the Burning Leaf if I need a NC and I know I'll get taken care of fairly and honestly.
